The Christmas lunch will take place on Tuesday 17th December. ??? Restaurant La Source at Cadenet. 35€ per person for a 3 course meal including drinks or at l’Auberge Les Tilleuls in Grambois for 40€. The current suggestions of La Source at Cadenet and l’Auberge les Tilleuls in Grambois were discussed with a preference shown for La Source. However another option, suggested by Eric Noel, was La Bergerie in Bonnieux. He will visit this restaurant to obtain more information about price, availability etc. and report back shortly. A decision will be made by a vote on the first hike after the school holidays (November 5th).
• La fête de fin d’année aura lieu le vendredi 05 juin ou le samedi 06 juin 2020 ??? (chez Alex au Château Saint Estève de Néri). Alex Wilson va vérifier avec sa fille si elle serait disponible. Paul Reilly a suggéré une alternative: la Bastide de Venelles ou nous avons organisé la soirée il y a quelques années. Paul ou Olivier vont se renseigner. Habituellement la location de la salle est le vendredi car le samedi est réservé aux mariages. Jacqueline Seguin va vérifier les dates d’événements de fin d’année à IBS afin d’éviter d’éventuels clashes. La fête à IBS a lieu le vendredi 12 juin 2020 donc pas de conflit. The end of year party will be on Friday the 5th of June or the Saturday the 6th of June 2020 Alex Wilson agreed to check the availability of her daughter regarding the catering if the event was to be held at Chateau St Estève de Néri. An alternative was suggested by Paul Reilly that we return to La Bastide de Venelles, where we celebrated several years ago. Paul or Olivier will contact this venue to obtain all the necessary information. This location is normally only available on Friday evenings as they keep Saturdays for weddings. Jacqueline Seguin will check the dates for end of year events at the international schools to try to avoid any clashes, which can reduce the number of participants. The IBS party is on the 12th June 2020 so no clash.
