Hike #24: Meyrargues Leaders: Gerda Date: May 27th, 2025 |

A pretty easy hike starting at the Meyrargues Cemetery and then up to the Chateau which dominates the village and the Durance valley. We will steadily climb up to the ridge and then along to an orientation table giving us views over the Luberon and further afield. Retracing our steps, we will continue through both wooded areas and clearings enjoying views of the surrounding area and the vegetation and flowers at our feet. After lunch, we will gradually descend back towards Meyragues passing by the ruins of a Roman aqueduct.
Une randonnée facile à partir du cimetière de Meyrargues puis jusqu’au Château qui domine le village et la vallée de la Durance. Nous montons progressivement jusqu’à la crête puis jusqu’au château qui domine le village et la vallée de la Durance. Nous grimperons progressivement jusqu’à la crête puis une table d’orientation nous offrant une vue sur le Luberon. Nous revenons sur nos pas et continuons à travers les zones boisées et les clairières en profitant de la vue sur les environs, la végétation et les fleurs à nos pieds. Après le déjeuner, nous redescendrons progressivement vers Meyrargues en passant aux ruines d’un aqueduc romain.
