Une très belle randonnée sur les crêtes des collines jusqu'à l’ermitage de St Jean du Puy, fonde au 5eme siècle. Vue sublime sur les immenses forets verdoyants des environs de Trets, la Sainte Victoire, la Sainte Baume, les Monts Aureliennes, le Garlaban etc… Une randonnée longue mais qui en vaut la peine !
We will make a gradual climb up to the ridge and continue along it until we reach the Hermitage de St Jean du Puy – founded in the 5th century. Superb views over the immense forest and luscious vegetation surrounding Trets, the Sainte Victoire, Sainte Baume, the Aurelienne mountains and the Garlaban etc. A long but rewarding hike!

Directions: From Aix-en-Provence take the A8, direction Nice, exit 32 and follow the direction of Trets by the D6. Drive up to Trets. When you reach the roundabout to enter Trets, keep straight towards Centre Ville. At next roundabout (with olive trees and water fall), keep straight. Turn right at traffic lights (in front of Post Office/Gendarmerie) signposted St Zacharie/Kirbon. Keep straight on until next LARGE roundabout. Turn right and go around the cemetery. Continue on this road (D12) until you reach Kirbon. Turn right into a small street opposite dustbins/recycling bins (next to a house with blue shutters). Continue down this lane (eventually becomes a dirt track) for 400m. Park in front of a barrier with sign RE113.
