Hike #26: Parc de Figuerolles, Etang de Berre Leaders: Sharon, Florence, Gerda Date: May 14th, 2024 |

This easy hike starts from the Parc de Figuerolles and goes through wooded and shady areas before arriving at the shores of the ‘étang de Berre’, where we will have our picnic lunch on the shell covered beach. We will see the Étang de Berre both from above and going along its shores before discovering the Grand Parc de Figuerolles, which is an area of 130 hectares, ideal for family outings and suitable for all types of visitors, walkers or athletes.
Nous démarrons cette randonnée facile dans le parc de Figuerolles. Le terrain est boisé et nous profitons de l’ombre avant d’atteindre le bord de l’Etang de Berre où nous nous arrêtons pour un pique-nique sur la plage de coquillages. Admirons la vue sur l’Etang! Ensuite nous longerons un bon moment les bords de l’étang pour découvrir davantage ce magnifique parc étendu sur 130 hectares, idéal pour les sorties familiales et convient à tous type de visiteurs, promeneurs ou sportifs.

Directions: Drive towards Martigues and follow the signs to Parc de Figuerolles.
