Dans le Var, une boucle entre 2 villages perchés, Esparron et St Martin les Pallières. Découverte du château de St Martin, forteresse médiévale transformée en demeure de villégiature. Avant le déjeuner nous vous proposons la visite de la Cathédrale Souterraine de St Martin de Pallières. Balade dans la garrigue, le long d’une ancienne voie ferrée et au milieu des champs et des vignes. Panorama sur le Luberon, le Mont Ventoux et les Préalpes…
In the Var, this circuit is between the 2 perched villages of Esparron and St Martin les Pallières. We will discover the medieval fortress of St Martin which has been transformed into vacation residences. Before lunch we will visit the Underground Cathedral of St Martin de Pallières. We will walk in “la garrigue”, along on old railway line through the fields and vineyards. We will be rewarded with panoramic views of the Luberon, the Mont Ventoux, and the pre-Alps…
Lunch: Bring a picnic lunch Dogs: okay (with a Leash in the village) Difficulty: 4 Length: 3 hours and 30 minutes + lunch

Directions: From Aix-en-Provence take the A51 towards Gap and exit at junction for Meyrargues/Pertuis. Take D96 towards Meyragues, pass through the village and then through Peyrolles. Take road to Jouques and then into Rians. At roundabout, turn left towards Varages. At next roundabout take road to Esparron. Go to the centre of the village and park near the “mairie” (or just above, near playground).
