Hike #18: Lambesc Leaders: Sharon; Chris; Gerda Date: March 25th, 2025 |

A pretty hike along the ridge called the Chaine des Côtes starting just outside Lambesc. As well as enjoying panoramic views over the Etang de Berre, the Alpilles, the Luberon, Mont Ventoux and the Ste Victoire. We will take the opportunity to visit some old cliff dwellings (troglodyte), the monument to those who lost their lives in the 2nd World War and an old chapel which is being slowly renovated. This varied hike will take us along wooded paths, the ridge and through the vines.
Une jolie randonnée le long de la crête de la Chaîne des Côtes au-dessus de Lambesc. Nous allons pouvoir profiter des vues panoramiques sur l’étang de Berre, les Alpilles, le Luberon, le mont Ventoux et la Ste Victoire. Nous visiterons également des habitations troglodytes, le monument aux morts de la seconde guerre mondiale et une ancienne chapelle qui est en cours de rénovation. C’est une randonnée variée qui nous mènera sur des sentiers boisés, sur la crête, à travers les vignes en empruntant des chemins agricoles.
