Une magnifique randonnée dans les Gorges de Trévans. Nous longerons un chemin surplombant les gorges et nous descendrons vers le ruisseau de l’Estoublaisse que nous franchirons par des passerelles historiques. En chemin nous admirerons une végétation variée. Tout ceci participe à une extraordinaire combinaison d’ambiances du canyon. Nous Déjeunerons le long d’une rivière rafraichissante et si le temps le permet nous pourrons nous y baigner. A ne pas manquer !
A magnificent hike in the Gorges of Trévans. We will walk along a ledge which overlooks the gorges, then we will go down towards the stream “Estoublaisse” which we will cross by historical wooden bridges. On our way we will admire different landscapes. An over all extraordinary combination of this breathtaking canyon. Alongside a refreshing river will rest for a peaceful and relaxing picnic (well, we hope so!). If the weather permits we will cool off in the river. Not to be missed!
Lunch: Bring a picnic lunch. Dogs: not allowed as we’ll walk along narrow paths overlooking the gorges. Difficulty: 5/6 Length: ~10 km Elevation gain: 560 m Length: 4 hours + lunch
Meeting point: Directly at the start of the hike at 10:30 am. GPS points: 43.94758 6.221164 (N 43.94758° / E 6.221164°) (park on the right hand side of the road) Directions. Directions (please allow 1 hour and 30 minutes for the drive). From Aix take the A51 to Sisteron/Gap. Exit at junction 19 – Oraison/Forcalquier. After the péage, turn right towards Oraison. Go through Oraison and keep on D4. Turn left towards Brasse d’As/Mezel (D907). Go into La Bégude, at T-junction turn left. Enter Estoublon, turn right D667 to les Gorges de Trévans. Drive for 5km and you will find a car park on the right hand side of the road (near a information board). |
