Hike #06: Vignoble Ansouis Leaders: Tehila, Avi, Sharon, Chris, Isa, Jean-Pierre Date: November 07th, 2023 |

On Tuesday 7 November, we're planning the AGM (Annual General Meeting) of the assocation, preceded by a shorter walk (2h) and a potluck lunch. Let’s go and walk through the vineyards around Ansouis. The hike will start and finish in the village of Ansouis. After an initial hill climb of 30 minutes, the path will be relatively flat. Then Helen will welcome us to the “Chateau St Estève de Néri” for a potluck lunch. Everyone will bring a dish to share, wine will be offered by the association. If you would like to buy bottles of wine, the cellar will be open and we will benefit from some very interesting promotions: boxes of 6 for the price of 4 or 20% off individual bottles (see attached file). The AGM will be held after the lunch. We'll be discussing the new year of hikes. You can ask questions and make your views and suggestions known. If you don't want to do the hike, you can arrive at 12.15pm for the potluck, or even a little earlier to help Helen set up, which will be much appreciated! If you're not doing the hike, please let me know so that we can count you in when organising the tables. We are sorry but dogs are NOT allowed. See you there! The leaders. -------------- Mardi 7 novembre, nous prévoyons l'Assemblée Générale Annuelle de l'association, précédée d'une randonnée plus courte (2 h) et d'un potluck. Nous vous proposons de faire une balade dans les vignobles autour d’Ansouis. La randonnée commencera et finira dans le village d'Ansouis. Après une montée d’environ 30 minutes, le chemin sera relativement plat. Ensuite, Helen nous accueillera au “Domaine du Château St Estève de Néri” pour un ‘’potluck’’. Chacun apportera un plat à partager, le vin sera offert par l'association. Si vous souhaitez acheter des bouteilles de vin, la cave sera ouverte et nous bénéficierons de promotions très intéressantes: cartons de 6 pour le prix de 4 ou 20% sur les Bouteille individuelles (fichier joint). L’assemblée générale de l’association aura lieu après le déjeuner. Nous discuterons de cette nouvelle année de randonnées. Vous pourrez poser des questions et faire connaître votre opinion. Si vous ne souhaitez pas faire la randonnée, vous pouvez arriver à 12h15 pour le potluck, et même un peu plus tôt pour aider Helen à l'installation, ce qui sera bien apprécié! Si vous ne faites pas la rando, dites-le-moi afin de vous compter pour l'organisation des tables. Or at the "Chateau St Esteve de Neri1" at 12.15 (even a little earlier to help Helen set up) Hike: GPS Points: 43°44’25.03N—5°27’51.68”E Directions: It is about a 40 min drive from Aix-en-Provence: A51/N296 Route de Sisteron. Exit 14 direction Pertuis/D556. After entering Pertuis, go left at the sign panels, heading west. The panels should say Cadenet/Tour d'Aigues. Follow Tour d'Aigues-Villelaure, at the roundabout leaving Pertuis, follow direction Villelaure. At the exit of Villelaure, follows signs D37-Ansouis. In Ansouis, you will look for a square with “un monument aux morts” and “un lavoir” near a chapel, park your car there.
