Hike #28: Calanques Leaders: Sharon, Tehila, Isa Date: May 24th , 2022 |

Pour notre prochaine randonnée, nous vous proposons une magnifique balade vers un lieu mythique des calanques. Nous marcherons de Cassis vers le Belvédère d’En Vau, puis nous longerons la côte vers Port Pin, ou nous déjeunerons et nagerons, et, enfin, le retour se fera par Port Miou (et sa longue perspective de ses bateaux blancs…). N’oubliez pas vos maillots de bain et de bonnes chaussures de randonnée.
For our next hike we will walk along the mythical Calanques from Cassis to En Vau where we will enjoy the spectacular picture postcard views from the view point overlooking the Calanque d’En Vau. We will then follow the coastline to Port Pin where we will have lunch and a swim. Then we will return via Port Miou giving you a chance to admire the yachts, etc… Don’t forget your swimsuit, sun-block, a hat and hiking boots.

Meeting point: Directly at the start of the hike at 9.45am. (Parking is limited and can be busy, carpool where possible and please be on time to ensure parking place in car park). Point GPS: Avenue des Calanques 13260 Cassis 43.212809, 5.522536
Directions: From Aix take the A8 direction Nice and then the A52 direction Toulon. After the peage at Pont d’Etoile, take the A52 direction Aubagne and then the A52 towards Toulon. Exit at junction 6 e Carnoux/Cassis. Take the D41E through the town and continue a few km after Carnoux in the direction of Cassis. In Cassis follow the direction “centre ville” and then “la plage du Bestouan, la Presqu’île”. Follow the signs “la Presqu’île”and look for a sign for Port Miou by foot. Turn right (at the large green sign) on “Avenue des Calanques” (ignore the no entry/sauf riverains signs. Turn left and go down to car park at the end of Port Miou.
