Hike #17: Sentier Merveilleux Grotte Marie Madeleine

Nous vous proposons une très belle balade dans le massif forestier séculaire de la Sainte Baume par le sentier merveilleux. En chemin nous découvrirons de nombreux oratoires et la Grotte de Sainte-Marie-Madeleine.

We will walk in the secular forest of “la Sainte Baume” by the Sentier Merveilleux. On the way we will discover some oratories and the grotto of Saint-Mary Magdalena. we will walk down along the Sentier Merveilleux

Lunch:      Bring a picnic lunch.

Meeting point: Directly at the start of the hike at 10:15 am.

Directions: Directions: Take the A8 towards Nice then A52 towards Toulon. Exit at Sortie 33 Pas de Trets/Auriol. After the toll booth, turn immediately left onto the N96 signposted La Destrousse/Auriol/Aubagne. Pass through the village of La Destrousse and then turn left on the N560 towards Auriol. Go straight through the village and ignore signs for autoroute. At roundabout turn right on the D45A signposted Plan d’Aups/St. Baume. Go for about 10km to the village of Plan d’Aups. Go through village and continue driving for several kms until you reach the Hostellerie on your right. The large car park is on your right just after the Hostellerie.
