Cette randonnée facile est une boucle sur le plateau de Ventabren, démarant dans la pinède ombragée, puis le long de la falaise qui surplombe la vallée de l'Arc, puis au milieu du plateau (au soleil). Nous admirerons, à différents moments, de belles vues sur tous les massifs environnants: Etang de Berre, Vallée de l'Arc, Etoile, Barrière du Cengle, Ste Victoire, Eguilles, Lubéron, Mont Ventoux... . Nous marcherons essentiellement sur des chemins larges type DFCI avec peu de dénivelé, en dehors d'une descente raide d'environ 70 mètres suivie d'une montée raide d'environ 70 mètres. Chacun est invité à apporter un plat salé, sucré ou apéritif dans ce but de partage, et également de l'eau ou une autre boisson si vous le souhaitez (autre que le vin qui sera fourni par l'association). · Merci de couper vos plats en tranches ou en portions à l’avance. · Prévoyez d'apporter votre assiette, vos couverts et votre verre. Dans un souci écologique, nous souhaitons éviter la vaisselle jetable. · Prévoyez une glacière pour garder votre plat au frais dans le coffre de la voiture, si nécessaire. Le parking est à l'ombre. · L'association Hiking Group of Provence fournira le vin, le pain et le fromage. Les fans de café ou de thé pourront apporter leur thermos. ========================================= This easy hike is a loop on the Ventabren "plateau", starting in the shady pine forest, then following the cliff overlooking the Arc valley, and finally across the middle of the "plateau" (in the sun). At various points, we’ll enjoy beautiful views of all the surrounding mountain ranges: Etang de Berre, the Arc Valley, Etoile, Barrière du Cengle, Sainte-Victoire, Eguilles, Luberon, Mont Ventoux... . We will mainly walk on wide DFCI-type paths with little elevation gain, apart from a steep descent of around 70 metres followed by a steep climb of around 70 metres. Please remember to bring food to share with the group, either sweet or savoury or aperitif, and also water or another drink if you wish (other than wine, which will be provided by the association). · Please try to have your dish cut into portions in advance. · Please bring your own plate, cutlery and glass. In an ecological concern, we would like to avoid using disposable crockery. · If possible, bring a cool box to keep your food cool in the boot of your car. The car park is in the shade. · The Hiking Group of Provence association will provide wine, bread and cheese.
