Hike #05: Potluck + AG Leaders: Florence Date: November 4th , 2025 |

Cette très belle randonnée nous amène sur les traces des points de vue peints par Cézanne. Après une montée plutôt raide, nous suivrons un chemin large avec une vue presque continue sur la Sainte-Victoire. Plus loin, nous pourrons aussi admirer les massifs de l'Etoile, du Garlaban, de la Sainte-Baume et de Regagnas. Nous terminerons notre parcours par le Vallon du Marbre et passerons devant l'ancienne marbrerie. Concernant the potluck, vérifier vos emails and n'oubliez pas: un plat à partager votre propre gourde ou bouteille d'eau vos propres couverts, verre et assiette. votre thermos café pour les fans
This very nice hike takes us in the footsteps of the views painted by Cézanne. After a fairly steep climb, we will follow a wide path with an almost continuous view of Sainte-Victoire. Further on, we will also be able to admire the Etoile, Garlaban, Sainte-Baume and Regagnas mountain ranges. We will end our hike in the Marble Valley and pass by the old marble works. For the potluck, check your emails and don't forget: a dish to share (please slice in advance) your own flask or bottle of water your own cutlery, glass and plate your own thermos for coffee fans

Proche du - Bayon (torrent) Affluent de l'Arc Directions: There are several car parks called ‘Roques Hautes’ so ensure you use these GPS coordinates. Hint - coming from Aix, drive through Le Tholonet, after the cross roads towards Beaureceuil/Chateauneuf-le-Rouge, keep straight towards St Antonin for a few hundred meters and just after a small bridge, turn left onto a concrete road and continue to the last car park (you can’t go any further). There is a small low sign saying ‘Roques Hautes’ at the entrance to the concrete road.
