Hike #10: Luberon

Le parcours vous fera découvrir une route forestière ombragée : belles vues sur les campagnes au pied du Luberon. 

Au début le large sentier monte progressivement au milieu des vignes, des vergers puis des pins d'Alep. Nous passons devant Le Jas de Pécou, une bergerie récemment restaurée avant de redescendre pour découvrir le paisible village de Cabrières d'Aigues.

 

The route will take us along a shaded forest road with beautiful views of the countryside at the foot of the Luberon. 

At the beginning the wide path gradually climbs among vineyards, orchards and then Aleppo pines. We pass in front of Le Jas de Pécou, a recently restored sheepfold before descending back to discover the tranquil village of Cabrières d’Aigues.

Directions: Drive to Cabrièrers d’Aigues . Take the D189 through the village and then turn right onto Rue Cime de Vière. Drive to the end where there is parking on the side of the road.

 PLEASE CARPOOL WHERE POSSIBLE AS PARKING IS LIMITED.
