Hike #21: Gorges du torrent de Corbières Leaders: Chris, Sharon, Isa Date: March 19th, 2024 |

Jolie randonnée boisée au départ du village de Corbières en Provence. En chemin nous découvrirons une jolie petite chapelle et un cairn érigé par le club de randonnée de Saint Tulle où nous déjeunerons avec des vues panoramiques sur les Alpes et le Verdon. Ensuite, nous descendrons vers le Trou du Loup (retenu d'eau avec des petites cascades). Pour finir nous longerons sur un chemin surplombant des gorges du torrent de Corbières.
Pretty wooded hike starting from the village of Corbières en Provence. Along the way we will discover a lovely little chapel and a cairn erected by the Saint Tulle hiking club, where we will have lunch with panoramic views of the Alps and the Verdon. Then, we will go down to the Trou du Loup (water reservoir with small waterfalls). To finish we will follow a path overlooking the gorges of the Corbières torrent.
Lunch: Picnic Dogs: Ok (with leads when walking on or near roads) Difficulty: 5/6 (due to length of hike) Length: 4 ¾ hours + lunch
Meeting point: Directly at the start of the hike at 10 am
Directions: Drive towards Mirabeau and then take the D996 direction Pierrevert/ Manosque. Continue on the D4096 to Corbières en Provence. Turn left onto D405 and park in the car park for the multi-purpose village hall (salle multi-activités).
