Cette très jolie randonnée panoramique démarre juste au-dessus de Cassis. Nous suivrons le chemin autour du Mont du Président et le long du Vallon de la Bécasse avant de remonter jusqu'au départ de la Route des Crêtes et du Bau de la Saoupe où nous pique-niquerons avec une vue panoramique surplombant la baie de Cassis . De là, nous suivrons le chemin de la falaise vers la Couronne de Charlemagne, avec une vue imprenable dans toutes les directions le long de la côte de Cassis à La Ciotat et au-delà et à l'intérieur des terres vers la Ste Baume, la Ste Victoire et plus loin.
This very pretty and panoramic hike starts just above Cassis. The hike will commence by following the path around the Mont du Président and along the Vallon de la Bécasse before climbing up to the start of the Route des Crêtes and the Bau de la Saoupe where we will enjoy a panoramic picnic lunch overlooking the bay of Cassis. From there we will follow the cliff path back towards the Couronne de Charlemagne, enjoying breathtaking views in all directions along the coast from Cassis to La Ciotat and beyond and inland towards the Ste Baume, Ste Victoire and further afield.

Meeting point: Directly at the start of the hike at 10 am
Directions: From Aix, take the A8 towards Nice and then the A52 towards Aubagne/Toulon. Continue on A50 towards Toulon and exit at junction 8 for Cassis. Just after the tollbooth, take the first exit at the roundabout and park on either side of the road (Pas de Bellefille). Limited parking so please car pool where possible.
