Hike #08: Luberon, sentier botanique Leaders: Isa, Chris, Jean-Pierre, Sharon Date: November 23rd , 2021 |
Nous vous proposons une balade dans la magnifique forêt de Cèdres dans le Luberon. Après la découverte d’un sentier botanique, nous longerons une crête avec des vues panoramiques sur la vallée de la Durance. Après quelques montées et descentes, nous marcherons au pied de la Roque des Banc et le long de ruines d’une ancienne bergerie. Si la météo le permet, nous déjeunerons sur un plateau avec des vues dominantes.This hike will take us into the beautiful « forêt de Cèdres” in the Luberon. After discovering the botanic trail, we will walk along the cliff edge with panoramic views overlooking the Durance valley… After some short steep descent and ascent, we will walk at the foot of the “Roque des Bancs” with the old ruins of the shepherds shelter (barns). If weather permitting we will lunch on a plateau with “breathtaking” views.Lunch: Bring a picnic lunch. Dogs: Okay Difficulty: 5/6 Length: 3 ½ hours + lunch Driving Directions: See below

Directions Take the N7 from Aix direction Rognes. Then take the D543 direction Rognes-Cadenet. From Cadenet you take the D943 direction Loumarin. From Loumarin take the direction of Bonnieux by the D943 (APT). Then turn left on the D36 toward Bonnieux, “Forêt de Cèdres”. Drive for 2.8 km and turn left direction forêt de cèdres. Keep going in that direction for 5.3 km. Park your car near a wooden fence.
